Program Overview
SO-CTEP supports a structured multi-stage learning pathway, combining supervised clinical practice, vocational education support, therapeutic skill development, and professional lifelong learning.
The framework is designed to encourage progressive competency development within supportive clinical and educational environments, aligned with both therapeutic standards and professional learning objectives.
Year 1 โ Foundation Therapeutic & Academic Development
During the first stage of the program, participants undertake foundational therapeutic and clinical learning designed to support professional practice development within supervised Australian training environments.
Key Goals:
- Exposure to core therapeutic modalities and clinical techniques
- Supervised clinical training within approved Australian environments
- Academic engagement and cross-cultural professional orientation
- Introduction to Australian healthcare frameworks and professional regulations
- Initiation into continuing professional learning pathways (CPD)
Professional Development Outcomes
Following foundational training, participants will have developed the professional competencies required to apply for industry-standard recognition aligned with Australian and international organisation requirements.
Participants who meet the relevant standards and conditions of the associated training institution may have the opportunity to receive a Diploma of Remedial Massage โ an important qualification for advancing their professional career at an international level.
Year 2 โ Advanced Therapeutic & Clinical Development
Following foundational training, participants may progress to more advanced therapeutic, research-focused, and professionally focused exposure within structured clinical and educational environments.
Key Focus:
- Advanced therapeutic practice and clinical reasoning
- Research engagement and evidence-based practice application
- Clinical leadership and peer mentoring development
- Multi-disciplinary pathway exposure and professional regulation
- Structured continuing professional development (CPD)
Continuing Professional Development
Participants may also access non-formal professional skill development opportunities aligned with therapeutic practice and professional standards.

- Thai Traditional Medicine (TTM) integration training
- Massage and remedial therapy skill refinement
- Industry-specific workshops (aged care, disability, NDIS, and related sectors)
- Clinical documentation and professional safety training
